PCVスタッフのメアリーとももは、東京外国語大学とご一緒させていただき、南アフリカ、ザンビア、ルワンダ、日本の大学の学生や研究者20人を対象にオンラインプログラムを開催しました。
このプログラムでは、5人のファシリテーターが各グループを担当し、参加者がディスカッションなどを通して、インプットしたことを一緒に振り返られるようにサポートをしていきました。
堀江壮さんの被爆証言や平和公園のオンラインツアーを体験した後、参加者は以下のような点について話し合いました。
・平和と安全保障の違い
・悲劇的な体験を共有することでの異文化間の関係構築
・平和な世界のための行動を後押しするような文章の力
PCVがTUFSとご一緒し、プログラムを担当させていただくのは今回で3回目です。私たちファシリテーターとスタッフは、毎年このような素晴らしい学生たちと関わることができる機会をとてもありがたく思っております。ありがとうございました。
PCV staff Mary and Momo held an online program in collaboration with Tokyo University of Foreign Studies for 20 students and academics at universities in South Africa, Zambia, Rwanda and Japan.
They were joined by five talented facilitators, who led breakouts to help the participants process their experience through discussion and reflection.
After hearing an atomic bomb survivor testimony from Soh Horie and experiencing an Hiroshima Peace Park online tour, participants discussed the difference between peace and security, building relationships cross culture by sharing experiences of tragedy, and the power of writing to inspire action for a peaceful world.
This was PCV’s third program partnering with TUFS. Our facilitators and staff truly value the opportunity to engage with these inspiring and thoughtful students each year. Thank you!
